Professor Suman Satyal from University of Texas at Arlington Arlington, TX United States has been welcomed at Babylon and Professor Satyal amazingly encouraged Babylonian to be scientist. Dr. Suman Satyal got his Ph.D. in astronomy and astrophysics working with Prof. Dr. Zdzislaw Musielak at the University of Texas at Arlington where he specialized on the orbital dynamics of the exoplanets in stellar binaries. He later extended his research into detection of exoplanets and exomoons. He has authored several scientific papers and his research has been recognized with notable awards and fellowships. As an active member of AAS and APS, he has presented his research in national and international conferences and actively participated in workshops to work on Exoplanet Light Curves, hosted by the NASA Exoplanet Science Institute.

Our students have got the chance to learn one of the most fundamental and important aspects of living in Asia – how to grow rice.This activity was being organized by Babylon's ECA team. The aim is to teach Babylonian about rice and how it is grown.“Rice is the single most important, best known, and most loved food staple in Nepal and across Asia.

The festival which falls in August-September every year is a three day celebration,Babylon has organized TEEJ FEST 2016 at Babylon today.Starting with a feast known as Dar Khane Din. A day after the feast, women fast for an entire day praying for marital bliss, good health and longevity of their spouses. Women dress in red dresses and saris and visit the temples of Lord Shiva during the festival.

Babylon works with children of all ages to offer them a comprehensive programme of learning which can feed into further opportunities in the water outside of the school environment.
